I am ever so grateful to all of the participants who are
giving EB a voice. Who are willing to take the time to
expose our community and beyond to the very serious and
important facts that need to become "household" terms. In
that I mean recognizable, heard about with feeling, and the
thought to join the EB community in cheering on our
researchers, scientists and doctors' for a cure, as well as
commending all those who continue to take next steps to
provide EBers' with comfort, hope, and reason to believe
that there is a "light" at the end of this lonely tunnel.

Awareness is the Key
I can't thank TPD staffers & participants enough
for all they're doing to help promote awareness
of EB. As devastating as EB is, it's hard to
believe that more people aren't aware of its
existence. Little by little that is changing,
and TPD is a big part of this wonderful change!
I have seen more press about EB in this past
year than I have in my entire life. Just like
any disease, awareness & research are the keys.
Maybe in time we'll unlock the door to find the
cure for EB.

Lori, your thank you is very special to me. You
were a major inspiration to us to mix PEZ and EB
awareness. You are one of my all time greatest
heroes. Your struggles are unimaginable and I am
always amazed at your upbeat sense of humor.
Your wisdom is priceless and I'm so proud to call
you my friend. TPD would not be the same without
the support and knowledge you provide us. I love
you sweety pie!

I should add...
You are so right about the media attention on EB
getting stronger this past year! Finally! TPD
vows to continue spreading the word and is
working hard towards getting the media attention
EB needs. I can't wait to finally meet you in
May!

The reward I hope for is someday for all the
Butterflies to feel the love they deserve and
that someday there is some relief from the
physical and emotional pain they deal with
everyday of their lives.

Heart-Felt Thanks to TPD!!
I'd like to thank Chris & Laura of TPD for
putting together such an AWESOME tour of PEZ
Candy, Inc. in Orange, Connecticut! I had the
time of my life meeting both of you in
person...as well as meeting the PEZident, Joe
Vittoria, and all of the other sweeter than PEZ
candy, officials of PEZ! They welcomed us with
open arms and the day was fabulous from start to
finish! I also love the MOC Florence Flutterfly
packaged with the Golden Ticket. It was nice to
meet others who have EB & share this special day
with them. Like I said before...The only thing
that hurt while I was inside the PEZ factory were
my cheeks...from smiling so much! Thank you, TPD,
for a day I'll never forget! Love, Lori...

I have known Chris for many years and it was
really cool to see how his obsession with Pez
dispensers has helped so many people! He has
always loved the Pez! Love ya Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!
